Ever since i started dual-booting windows and ubuntu I had been disapointed with the look of the grub bootloader. I downloaded a theme for grub from github (which there are a lot of) and applied it. So now, I have a sick bootloader.
I configured an A record on cloudflare to use this website' s domain to monitor the traffic to my self hosted minecraft server that runs on my old pc in my room. It makes the server more secure thanks to Cloudeflare' s free protection, and it 's just cooler to give my friends a solid ip adress made of words rather than my WAN adress followed by a port, which is impossible to memorize.'
This webstite' s frontend was hosted on cloudflare, the backend and the database on my home server, running MongoDB. I talk about it in the past, since i dropped the project for a few reasons, but I learned plenty about databases, server side programming, security protocols and port forwarding along the way.
